Abstract:

Many businesses are starting to use Serverless resources such as AWS Lambdas to build new services. Though there are many advantages to using serverless workflows, such as quicker time to market, scalability, and cost, there are also some challenges, especially when it comes to orchestrating complex multi-step workflows.

 

In this talk we are going to explore how AWS Step Functions can help us overcome some of these challenges and how Cinch have used Step Functions to reduce code complexity and the amount of required infrastructure whilst increasing reliability and observability.
